The Odon Communion Encounter Preamble

Preamble For The Odon Communion Encounter Gathering
Recognizing the Kairos moment we have now entered and with knowledge of many prophetic words spoken over Indiana for the last 40 years, and knowing the Lord has already birthed a revival and Communion Awakening in southern Indiana, northern Kentucky, and various parts of the country, we are encouraged to unite our hearts in prayer with the following actions.
Communion, Prayer, and Fasting
Join us in this most opportune time as we unite our hearts in one accord in daily Communion, prayer, and regular fasting. Individually and corporately as one in Christ:
- We endeavor to have personal Holy Communion on a regular basis throughout the week.
- We will engage to spend 30 minutes of prayer each day, praying in faith for the conversion of the lost through true repentance and the new birth.
- We will pray for the prodigals to be drawn back to Christ by the Holy Spirit with repentance and be fully restored and delivered by the blood of Jesus.
- We will pray for our communities to be saturated with God’s presence to a point they will hunger and thirst for Him, and that their eyes are opened to see, their ears are opened to hear, and their hearts are opened to understand and receive Him.
- We will pray for the whole body of Christ to be revived and enter into this Communion Reformation and Awakening, whereby we will continually host the presence and glory of God and do the works Jesus and reap the plentiful harvest of souls.
- We will individually determine our day(s) of fasting, commit to fasting no less than one day per week, and increase our prayer and Communion times on these days.
- Recognizing that we are in a spiritual warfare to take territory for the Kingdom of God, we will prayerfully pull down the demonic strongholds by putting on the whole armor of God and stand against the strategies of the demonic by the blood and name of Jesus!
“None ever went to Christ when on earth, with the case of their friends, that were denied, and, although the days of His humiliation are ended, yet for the encouragement of his people, He has left it on record that where two or three agree upon earth to ask in prayer, believing, it shall be done.” James McGready, Pastor of Red River in 1796, Just Before the 2nd Great Awakening.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 NKJV
“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13 NKJV
